Are Your Profits Going to Waste?

The best way to get any shop owner’s attention is to grab him in the budget.

We recommend a thorough review of your shop's waste management practices. Liquid paint waste represents a large percentage of a waste removal budget. Next is solvents, then paint booth and prep deck filters.

What can you do to reduce your paint waste management costs? Two words - solvent recycler.

I know. I can hearing you saying, "Oh great.. I get to spend more money on yet another piece of equipment". True..... but it's an expense that can pay for itself within 12 months. You can accomplish 2 things with a solvent recycler - cook out your paint waste and recover your solvents. I have yet to see a shop unhappy with the ability to recover 90% of their solvent costs.

Spray booth/Prep Deck Exhaust Filters: TCLP testing will tell you if your filters are truly hazardous waste. Incinerators and landfills are very familiar with TCLP testing. The onus is on the shop owner to determine if his waste is truly hazardous - this is accomplished by TCLP testing.

Waste management costs, in many cases, are a situation of the tail wagging the dog. By putting your waste management issues under a microscope, you can save money and reduce compliance headaches.
