Massillon, OH – April 17, 2008 – U.S. Chemical & Plastics, a division of Alco Industries and a leader in repair, refinish, appearance and maintenance products for the automotive aftermarket, announced today the immediate promotion of 24-year industry veteran, Tom Perry, to the role of company president.  Perry was formerly vice president, sales & marketing and is replacing the preceding President, Wade Bowman.

Tom’s career has placed him in various levels of responsibility throughout the industry.  Prior to joining U.S Chemical & Plastics, he enjoyed a career spanning 19 years with the Sherwin-Williams Company in numerous executive management positions.  Perry also currently serves as committee chairman for the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX).
