ORRVILLE, OH– February 2007 – Montana Products, Inc. announces their PAINTER LEARNING PROGRAMS for 2007 in their continuing commitment to education. These courses include PAINTER COLOR TRAINING, as well as, PAINTER PRODUCT and COLOR CERTIFICATION. Classes will introduce the Montana Products’ color systems to the student. Attendees will learn more about Color Theory along with the latest mixing and adjusting techniques in both a classroom and hands-on setting. Courses are conducted at the Company headquarters in Orrville, Ohio, and class sizes are limited to enhance the learning experience.

The PAINTER COLOR program is designed for the paint technician who is looking to improve their knowledge of color theory, application and color adjustment. The course will introduce the painter to the complete Montana product line for automotive refinishing. Color Training topics will include fundamentals of paint mixing, as well as, Color Theory and Color Adjustment. Subjects include: O.E.M Effects on Color, Topcoat Application, Preparation for Good Color Matches, Tinting and Blending Procedures, Problem Solving Cause and Cures, and Safety and Equipment. Class dates are April 9-10, July 9-10, Oct. 8-9 and the fee is $150.

The PAINTER PRODUCT and COLOR CERTIFICATION program includes the fundamentals of paint mixing, color theory and adjustment, but with an emphasis on learning and working with the Metalux2™ color line including the use of pre-colored panels to evaluate and discuss. Topics will incorporate Big Sky™ Products, Metalux2™ Colour System, Spray Equipment Setups, O.E.M. Effects on Color, Topcoat Application, Preparation for Good Color Matches, Color Box, Tinting and Blending Procedures, and Problem Solving Causes and Cures. Painters attending this course will be certified in the Metalux2™ Colour System. The 3 day class dates are March 12-14, June 11-13, Oct. 15-17 and the fee is $175.
