Walled Lake, MI – February 22, 2006– Matrix System Automotive Finishes is teaming up with Bushtec Performance Sport Trailers for its SEMA 2006 exhibit. The custom motorcycle and Bushtec cargo trailer will be displayed in Matrix’s booth for the 2006 show that will be held October 31-November 3. The bike and trailer design will be created and applied by Bushtec featuring Matrix System primers, sealers, basecoat and clearcoat.

Bushtec’s custom motorcycle and trailer will recapture the 1930s, considered to be the prime of automotive design. Combining old world craftsmanship and new technology, the motorcycle will be powered by a 1600cc Yamaha Road Star motor cradled in a custom frame by Rolling Thunder. Amenities will include a DVD, MP3, and CD player, in addition to Satellite Radio playing through an array of fairing mounted speakers, with screens mounted in the fairing and the rider and passenger backrests. The trailer will begin as a Bushtec Roadstar and undergo numerous modifications, including lengthening of the body, new style fenders and taillights, a subwoofer enclosure and amplifier rack, in addition to a large monitor and speakers residing under the lid, creating a mobile theater experience. The concept renderings for the project are being done by Joe Iacono of Iacono Designs in Pleasanton, California. Matrix will work with Bushtec in designing the paint layout and finish.

In addition to appearing on the main floor of the SEMA Show in the Las Vegas Convention Center, the bike and trailer will be displayed at the International Powersports Dealer Expo and several motorcycle events in 2007. Bushtec is looking for sponsors to contribute additional products and services to the construction of the custom motorcycle and trailer.
