STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – February 17, 2006 – The PPG Automotive Refinish Customer Focus Center has announced that its Technical Service Group will now offer expanded hours of operation. The new hours are from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The move is designed to provide faster response to the large number of customer calls and to align with the recent announcement of new hours of operation for the Color Library.
The Technical Service Group provides a free service to body shops and jobbers who need information on PPG products, product compatibility, product application and more. The Center is staffed by a team of technical experts who have comprehensive knowledge of all PPG product offerings, as well as extensive hands-on training and experience in the field.
According to Dave Zelch, director of the Customer Focus Center, “The expansion of the Technical Service hours of operation is part of a continuing effort by PPG to focus on our customers’needs. We hope this move will benefit our customers by making the service more accessible to shops and jobbers across North America.”
