LOS ANGELES, California – November 11, 2005 – Larry Cline of Bolivar, Missouri was awarded the PPG/ASE Refinish Technician of the Year award at a banquet held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel & Resort Los Angeles in Redondo Beach, California. The annual award is given to the collision center technician who receives the highest score on the ASE Painting and Refinish test, which is administered twice each year.

Cline, who has over 18 years experience as a collision center technician, has been employed by Bill Roberts Chevrolet in Bolivar, Missouri for the past 13 years. His current position as an Auto Body Technician involves repairing vehicles from structural to refinishing. Cline is involved in his community and helps to coach his daughters soccer and softball teams. His hobbies include watching football and NASCAR racing, he also enjoys the Sci-Fi channel.

“I guess the best thing about being a technician, is all the cool tools you get to play with,” Cline said. “You’re always faced with new challenges in this ever changing field. Being ASE certified provides professional credentials and helps prove to the customer that you are competent to repair their vehicle.”
