August 4, 2005, Irvine, Calif. – Assured Performance Network, the national Co-op for independently owned, best-in-class collision repair businesses, announced today the results of its Assured Performance Northwest Retreat. Assured Performance used the backdrop of Lewis and Clark’s 200th anniversary of their brave adventure into a vast, unexplored territory, drawing a parallel to its own bold and daring programs that will lead the collision repair industry into uncharted territory.
The Retreat, held July 21 – 23, 2005, in Flathead Lake, Mont., received overwhelmingly positive praise from its attending Member-Partners. This exclusive event was the first in a series of regional rollout events introducing two new programs designed to reinvent and revolutionize the collision repair and claims world.
“The Assured Performance Montana Retreat was a ‘first class’ event in every way. The setting was beautiful and the program presented the new mindset to overcome today’s issues,” said Kathy Mello, Owner of TGIF Body Shop in Fremont, Calif. “The clarity established in this program revealed a fresh approach for the future to otherwise perplexed and fragmented business owners. The return on investment for this event has already taken place.”
The three-day event presented Assured Performance Member-Partners with two major programs wrapped around highly advanced methods of customer retention, marketing, sales and increased profit potential. The retreat also provided attendees with exclusive information regarding the direction of its Co-op, preferred vendor relationships, bold new programs and special exclusive benefits.
One daring program introduced the first year’s result of its Co-op buying group wherein all of the participants made a profit. This unique program returns the rebates and discounts to the Member-Partners unlike nearly all of the other networks that keep the money. Another major initiative was the release of their special customer retention program that changes all of the rules and offers repairers and insurers a compliment or even an alternative to DRPs. The attendees also saw the first glimpse of their network operating system, an online software program designed to bring all of the partnering businesses closer to consistent operations and highly effective collaboration.
“The retreat provided an awesome opportunity for all of us to work collaboratively to develop a new reality in our industry,” said Wiesje Baskerville, Owner of Autohound Collision Center in Seattle, Wash. “In these changing times it is good to know we can rely on our Co-op to help us focus on what is most important to our individual companies – providing our customers with a far better experience, improving the work environment for our staff members, and finding new and better ways to profit.”
The group recreational activities included golfing, lake activities, boating, rafting, a dinner cruise and a tour, a rodeo, capped off with a hike, tour and dinner in Glacier National Park. The group setting offered opportunities for attendees to collaborate on the new material as only true partners can do working in a Co-op environment.
There will be special program rollouts scheduled throughout the country unveiling major buying group programs and customer retention programs. The next Assured Performance event entitled, “California Gold Rush,” is scheduled to take place September 15 – 17, 2005, in Lake Tahoe, Nev.
