STRONGSVILLE, Ohio - May 12, 2003 -- PPG has introduced MP282 SV High Build 2K Primer Surfacer designed for use with the OMNI line. MP 282 is a two-component, gray primer surfacer featuring high build, fast dry properties, and can be used over a wide variety of properly prepared substrates.

MP282 can be used over steel, galvanized metal and aluminum, provided the metal has been etch-or epoxy-primed, sanded and cleaned. It can also be applied over sanded and cleaned body filler, fiberglass and SMC substrates as well as OEM and refinish coated surfaces.

MP282 offers fast drying, which reduces down time before sanding; high build which means excellent filling properties; and versatility that means fewer products in the shop.
